BAD SOUND
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these headphones because of the decent reviews and I was sick of changing batteries all the time on my old sennheiser wifi headphones for $29. Yes, rechargable batteries is probably the only good thing abouit this set. These headphones actually fit better and feel more comfortable if you put them backwards, opposite from what is designated with the R ( right) and L ( left) letters. But regardless of this, the sound quality was just bad, at least in my case. It sounded like I put my head in the barrel, and it had some static noise when there was no speaking or music. They were connected to the ONKYO receiver, and no matter how I tried to make it sound better the sound was just no match to my old cheap ones. I had to return it the next day.

Not Good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Searching for good value wireless headphones to primarily use with my LED television is harder than it sounds. Most LED TV's don't work with Bluetooth headphones while at the same no longer have headphone jacks. This leaves our options limited. I previously used my old pair of Sennheiser HD 497 headphones with my old Vizio 42 (which had a headphone jack) and the sound quality was superb. Now I have a new 50'' Samsung TV with these new digital headphones and yet somehow the sound quality is 10x worse. It's like our standard of quality is moving in reverse direction. While the build seems good, the resulting sound is something you would get from drug store headphones for $10. There is absolutely no bass, the dialogue and music sound like they're in the distance instead of surrounding you, and unless you have it connected to an external receiver (which most probably don't), you have no way to make any sound adjustments. This leaves me still on the hunt to get a good pair of open air wireless headphones with decent sound quality. For $90, I really expected better.

Not for every TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item was bought for my hard of hearing father. However, it would not work with his 3 year old Sony TV. I consulted with Best Buy; tried their alternative options with no luck. I called the phone number on the Insignia package and again had no luck. While this was an easy set up, it was a disappointment and very frustrating for my father.

Poor sound quality, junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these so I wouldn't wake the wife. The signal routinely cuts out, several times during a half hour show. Other times with like be "clicky" like a bad cell connection. This happens routinely while I'm sitting in the chair, 15 ft from the transmitter, not moving. No walls, not moving around.

ZERO Bass
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these because they were super cheap & at first i thought they were ok then when i really started trying them out i realized they seriously have zero bass, like clock radio quality bass, i just couldn't get past it i was playing games & listening to music & that was all i noticed it really takes you out of the experience. I was expecting some bass nothing great for the cheap price but its just really bad

Worked great... for a month, then nothing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These worked great for about a month then they stopped working. They would appear to be paired and would work for a few seconds, then stop. I had a couple techie friends take a look and said everything looked so they couldn't figure out why they didn't work. I also checked out the troubleshooting guide online, but nothing worked so here I am (again) shopping for wireless headphones. :(

Poor Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are garbage. Purchased them for my hard-of-hearing relative. The signal is intermittent and stopped working after only two weeks. My relative cannot drive and cannot return them to the store, the extended warranty only works in store. What a waste!

Do NOT believe the 4-5 star reviews.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones were very deceiving. They say wireless but it requires a hub to plug something into it, I searched Bluetooth headphones and best buy showed me these. They DO NOT go to the max distance of 50 feet, I will never buy Insignia again.

Big Problem with these headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't keep the headphones paired to the base. They have to be practically touching each other. There is a serious flaw here.

Charlie brown wonk wonk in a box sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awful. Range is about 3 feet...literally... and you can't move your head at all or there's significant static. The sound is sooooo bad! Really sounds like a tin can on a string in a box. I cannot believe these are priced this high or that the reviews are as good as they are. The headset was very tight too and gave me a headache. I returned and got the only other brand they carry in store..sony radio frequency wireless that sound just like normal tv sound and let you walk away to the bathroom or other room with a tv playing the same channel...bit of static at times when walking through the house but better by far than these. And the headset is way comfier.

Nice setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headphone set was easy to setup. Battery charger base was causing problems with connection to headset. The headset was very "tinny" sound. Headset adjustment was a little awkward for fitting to my head.

For a Few Extra Bucks Buy Something Better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've just seen some of the reviews and am surprised they were all so positive. The first pair I purchased failed within 30 days. The second pair started out great and now less than 60 days after receiving this replacement set I'm having problems again. Mostly they sound like there is interference between the base and the headset. Not possible as I'm sitting less than 10 feet away and there's no obstruction.

Horrible headphones for 90 dollars
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all they don't sound great. There is a slightly echo when watching tv shows. and they feel fisher price cheap. And then two days into owning it the base just quit working so I am not sure if it was the open box unit they sent me or a fluke but I'm sending it back and going with a different brand
