Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked the aesthetic of the ring stand over the pop socket although the pop socket was overall more comfortable to use. I was willing to sacrifice comfort for appearance and the ring stand still helped grip my phone better. That being said, the ring literally broke, popped right off the base, after a week. I almost dropped my phone onto the concrete. If you’re looking for a ring stand, look for a different one. The craftsmanship of this one is poor, or better yet, just stick to the pop socket.

The adhesive was pretty strong and stayed put, but the ring loosened up almost immediately so that it couldn’t hold the phone up at all. It still partially served its purpose as ring support, but was useless as a kickstand, which is why I bought it. I had one of a different brand on an old phone that lasted for 6 months. So, I had high hopes for this one, as it is exactly the same design, save the brand.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The design and look of the ring are very nice, however the whole point of the ring is to provide a stand/holding stability, but whenever using the ring it comes off my phone with very little force aka the adhesive used to stick it to the phone is trash. I purchased an equivalent on Amazon in the past for less money and it never came unstuck. As this is a BestBuy owned product I would recommend upgrading the adhesive on the back of the ring to actually work.

I should have known better when I found myself using crazy glue 2 days after I stuck this bad boy on that I would have issues. Nevertheless, from the start, I had issues getting this to stick. Finally, towards the end of it's life span (by the way, that equaled 2 months in total), the ring would no longer lock into position to utilize it as a stand. It would swing and spin loosely and it was completely useless. Not to mention the glue now stuck to the back of my phone case. It's a shame because Insignia is usually awesome. Of course Best Buy will not do a do thing for me...so maybe the manufacturer will read this and keep me as a customer!
