Mostly Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here's your "thanks for that review" review. For ~$30? go for it. Vehicle: 08/RAV4, Desired use: hands free calling and wireless music. Setup (may vary, banana plugs included in box): Aux cord from car to device, device on and paired with phone/iPod etc. PROS: +This device is tiny and extremely simple to use. (That tech stuff can get wacky) +Sound OUTPUT via aux is impressive (them tunes be bumpin y'all) +Non complicated design +Mostly analogue (which means it's going to last!) CONS: -Poor battery life (installed Sunday, used for avg. music listening while driving, and it's dead today -Tuesday) -INPUT sound quality (as in when speaking into the phone) is poor, my dad reports me sounding " like i'm in a tunnel" but if you refer to the pros list, I could hear him clear as a bell. -iPhone users: No Siri while using Bluetooth, but manual operation of Siri is still active (slightly counter productive, but still...) + Look ma, no hands! All in all, i'm mostly planted in the 21st century now with my fancy Bluetooth machine makin' them there cellular phone calls. I just have to be diligent about charging the device. I'm totally happy with it though. I have it mounted under a vent register by the steering wheel, it's out of the way and easy to operate without looking at it. Hope that helps! Don't even get suspicious, I did this fo free.

Ok Product for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking forward to using bluetooth in my car with this product and at first it was all great! The only downside was that the volume was MUCH lower, but the quality was very good so I didn't mind. Then the issue came with phone calls and voice commands. The mic in this device is terrible and makes calling a pain for the person your talking to, and google only understood what I said about half the time. It wasn't worth the hassle in the end and I'm back to using my Aux cable again with no problems.

Has a ghost
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Agree that it is easy to use, and that the volume is a bit lower than a straight cable connection. My big problem: it turns on by itself while I’m in a call. Then the people I’m talking to can hear me, but I can’t hear them unless my stereo is setup to play from the AUX input. Extremely annoying. If it is off, it should stay off.

It works but it's inconvenient
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to add bluetooth to my car, the sound quality and loudness is good, not really a noticeable difference between plugging in an aux cord. My issue with this thing is that it doesn't automatically sync with my phone 3/4 of the time. I have to hold down the button every time I get in my car and sometimes it takes multiple attempts to make it connect. I'd recommend this to someone without an aux jack on their phone or who just wants to use it for headphones, but I bought it to avoid the hassle of plugging in an aux cord all the time and its really more of a hassle than anything so I will probably be returning it.

Bluetooth Media Option
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this audio receiver for my Infiniti M35 to stream music from my phone to the car. It works great but the battery life could be better and the Bluetooth receiver is outdated and audio is affected slightly
