Very happy to find out that this speaker is substantial. The sound is better than expected. I must say that having bought Insignia products before, I can say that they are as good as ANY basic name brand product. And, usually the price is far lower,but the quality is surprisingly good. In most cases you get more than you pay for.

I own three Bose products, therefore I am accustomed to quality music. I purchased five of these today for Christmas gifts for 9.99. To my surprise, the speakers do an outstanding job for the cost. No, they are not Bose, but a small well built speaker with great Bluetooth connectivity and with clarity and volume.

I just bought 5 of these for all my family who wants speakers, which is all of them. I kept one for myself and wow, I was so impressed at the sound quality. It hooked up easily to my phone's bluetooth and played songs from my phone, youtube and even spottily without a problem at all.

Another reviewer mentioned that this Insignia model is good for an entry level speaker and I really like that statement. At $12, this is a very inexpensive yet useful speaker. Does it sound like a car radio or tv? No. It is far smaller and not designed to manage deep bass or crisp details. But if you want a small, very portable speaker that is probably much louder than listening to your phone in open air, this is a good place to start. It does not have some of the features that you will have to spend a few more dollars with other models but it is simple to connect and lets you listen to your music anywhere. Signal range is a little more than 25 feet and I admit that I will most likely never use mine for phone conversations.

Got this speaker at great price of $10 - It is worth the money. Good sound for small room/garage. At highest volume, sound may get little perky, but not bad. We bought tow of these and are good options for gift too! Would definitely recommend

Really incredible sound for such a small portable speaker. Excellent bass and mid range tonality. The battery seems to last a long time between charges. Perfect for outside on the deck or traveling. I highly recommend!!

I bought similar ones couple of years back and so pleased with them. Bought again as gifts. They pack a lot of sound in a small package. These look cute and provides a good sound. Happy for the value they provide.

I was disappointed because the speaker sounded no better than my phone's speaker.

Couldn't pass this up for the price. Wasn't expecting anything spectacular because of the big price discount but was impressed with the sound quality especially for the size.

I bought one of these when it was on sale for $10 and at that price it can't be beat. Like others I was very surprised by the sound as I've bought other Bluetooth speakers that were more expensive and lower quality sound and construction. It doesn't quite have the punch of my Jawbone Jambox Mini, but you really can't complain for $10! The only downsides are the color (red is too bright) and the fact that you can't turn the charging/Bluetooth indicator off. I have the speaker connected to an Echo Dot in my bedroom and with the lights off the light is pretty bright - not great for sleeping. Other than that im happy with it.

The product is wasy to use. Sound is very good. Another feature that we can make and receive call with this. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my husband Christmas of 2016. It was on sale for an insanely low price. For that reason I wasn't expecting too much at all but it was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't looking for something expensive but a portable speaker was on his wish list. We have used this thing almost daily for about 8 months. The sound is great, no connectivity problems, it's passed the "drop test" and we love it. I will definitely be buying one for myself as well.

This speaker is what I use with my iPhone for bluetooth playing of Pandora Radio and overnight white noise. The speaker documentation and description say that the battery lasts up to 8 hours. I have had it fully charged and not had to recharge for well over 16 hours so far... so it's got great sound for a long time and works very well. I have used it once for a phone call and that was fine as well, according to the person who called me.

I got this speaker at a good price. It looks nice and it feels solid in hand. I charged it, and it had little LED indicators blinking. It seemed to be working. However, I could not pair it up with one of my phones. The other phone worked just fine. All buttons and pairing up is pretty standard and intuitive.

Its amazing what these small speakers can put out in clear sound. We carryed speakers on our shoulders that looked like a stove that did not do as good. Loud, base, clear. I like it alot. Connects real good. Whats not to like?

Very decent little speaker. I tried 2 others from Walmart, an 808 Canz and a Blackweb Highwire that didn't make the grade. Then I bought the Jam Plus from Best Buy and thought I had what I wanted until this little gem appeared on sale for $12.99. Bought it for my daughter but think I will be getting another for myself and returning the Jam. It doesn't talk to you every time it turns on or off. The Jam does and I think it's annoying, but that's a personal preference. Also, it doesn't say so but you can connect a non-bluetooth unit to it via a cord and it works great. I did it. Oh, it's 4 oz. heavier, if that makes a difference to you.

We picked up four of these after buying one and loving the first one. I like that they come in different colors so now the kids don’t fight over which one is theirs. Great connectivity, we take them outside, in the house, everywhere
