I was very surprised by the big sound that this little box puts out.

Not too small and not too big and volume output is good. Battery is an added bonus also

I bought this with no experience in this type of product. It seemed like a good thing and with 20 hr charge made it a great thing to charge my iPhone and iPad. I bought it mainly for increasing the sound from my devices. Mostly for increasing the sound level from a speaker talking and not really for music. But then a few days later I came across an oontz speaker. For about the same price, it had much better sound. I decided to return this one and bought an oontz and spent an extra $10 for a 14w speaker. It doesn’t have the feature for charging other devices. But that is ok since that was not my purpose in buying it. And music on the oontz was so much better and even more better from upgrading it. I saw so many reviews that said they wished they would have upgraded originally so that’s what I decided to do.

While definitely not on the same level as some of the more expensive brands out there, for the price of these things (hovers around $50, but can often be found on sale for around $25 to $30!), you really can't go wrong. The sound is decent to good on all levels, and the bass isn't as bad as one would assume for this price. Insignia products are all of great quality, and this is no exception.

Small and affordable device but provides big, clear sound. Battery is outstanding.
