Not much bass. But for free I'm not complaining...

We bought this for our eleven year old daughter and noticed how easily it distorted. I have thought about returning. The bass is were it does this which is more of what we like when hearing music.

This bluetooth speaker is well made and does the job required. Got this for 1/2 the list price and it does everything needed. The bt connection is good and there is no dropped signal. Five stars if a separate "aux in " button were available.

Good battery life, a little garbled at higher volume, lows not earth shattering unless on something hollow, internal phone charger is meh, cant complain about it for 18 bucks on clearance.....

Second time I've tried with this speaker and I've realized that this product wears itself out every two weeks. Sound is decent for the price, but drops connection often (from 15 feet away) and won't interface with Mac computers. I don't know about its rugged abilities, it sat on a bookcase the whole time before having an existential crisis and breaking down.

I returned this speaker for a full refund for two reasons: 1) it was not loud enough for outdoor use 2) the range of the Bluetooth connection was less than 25 feet I used an iphone 6 to play music from my itunes library while doing yard work around my back deck. For $20 this speaker would work well in the kitchen, home office, or hobby room with minimal background noise or interference. After I returned this unit I bought a UE Mini Boom and I am very satisfied. Its a good bit more expensive, but fits my needs perfectly.

I wanted a basic inexpensive speaker to improve my laptop and phone sound while listening to music, watching videos, etc. The sound quality of course is not the best but good enough for everyday normal use. I'm ok with my purchase.

Did not had ageeat experience with this item , I w@s happy At the beginning when purchased , but then started to give me problem it was not charging I was not able to listen to my music at all .

I like the speaker. When the bass is really loud it does seem to crackle some. It is being used by my son as a speaker for his music in his room, he is only 7 so he doesn't really listen for the quality of sound. He loves it!

love it love it. I use this speaker at all my family and friends gatherings. It is very loud and other members of my family have purchased this item since I bought mine. The only downside is that the system is big and bulky.

I work as a Machinist on 3rd Shift and use this nightly . It's durable , the sound is nice and surprisingly loud . 30 hours of music and the ability to charge my phone is what sold me the first night I used it . It's amazing the non-Power Bank Insignia Bluetooth Speakers are $39.99 and this one only $24.99 . I've bought 3 of them as Christmas Gifts this year .

I picked this up for $25 and for the price you cannot beat it. I have a JBL speaker about the same size and the insignia is noticeably "weaker". Regardless it is still a great speaker and the battery lasts a good while.

I'm happy I got the speaker 50% off at $25. Even though the battery last 30 hours, the speaker is not loud whatsoever. Still a great deal for $25 but I wouldn't spend 50

I did a lot of research as I needed an inexpensive bluetooth speaker for my work vehicle and I decided on this one, as it also works as a spare charging unit. I'm kinda bummed that it can't play music WHILE it charges my phone, but for $25? That's more than fine. A simple BATTERY pack to charge your mobile devices will cost you that much - you get that plus a VERY good speaker. Bass is great and mids and high sound very clear. I feel that this speaker COULD go louder without distorting, but it looks like they set the max volume at a good cutoff. It's got some weight to it (i'm assuming from the battery) but it feels great in hand as it's completely surrounded by soft, matte rubber. I love that the ports in the back are covered by a soft rubber flap as well. Speakers like this used to cost $150 a few years ago. This is an unbelievable value.

Turned speaker on - sounded loud for being so little. Then it just stopped working. Had to return. Not sure if speaker blew or what - but it never turned back on.

Sound quality is decent, not great. Phone needs to be closer to speaker than I had hoped. I was hoping to leave the phone inside and use the speaker in the back yard.

I wanted a good Bluetooth speaker but didn't want to spend too much. This Insignia speaker is perfect for my needs. It was on sale as an "open-boxed" item at Best Buy for $9.99! I definitely got a great deal and couldn't be happier!!

This is an impressive little Bluetooth speaker! It has a decent bass response and overall warm tone, simple styling, and a neat feature - USB charging port.

I was looking for a device that would be suitable for myself and my children while they're at their football practices and this portable speaker is awesome five stars definitely

Again bought for my daughter's college dorm. The color matched her decor and it also acts as a speaker phone when she is Bluetooth to it. Nice feature and bought at a pretty good price. The sound is ok.
