    No bass. It sounds ok. And pretty cheap. I got the speaker for free with a coupon. I personally would not pay for the speaker.But its an ok speaker for kids or just to have as a back up its kind of loud.

    Bought this after the Vivitar I got at Sears failed within 2 weeks. The Insignia is much smaller but has just as big a sound. It was on sale for just $12.99 so I went back and bought 3 more to give as gifts.

    This speaker is really good and is pretty loud.I purchased 6 of these as gifts... Everybody like it The only issue with this is that at high volume the sound is not clear and is a bit jittery..
