The speaker has a good sound to it. It is good for what I need it for. When I turn the volume up real loud, it doesn't sound like the speaker is going to blow. It is no Bose but it is pretty decent for $20.

Definitely not worth 40, 20 is a good price and i got for 10 when it was on sale. This little speaker does get pretty loud for its size, fills up a room nicely and maybe even a living room. I think this will do just fine in a garage or outside. Not sure about the beach and really broad outside areas. Need something to get you by until you save up for the big boys, this will do. Also this is definitely on the higher/pitchy side, not a lot of bass at all.

Read reviews before purchasing this, and just wanted to say this is no lie a great buy! Live in college housing and this speaker could get me some noise complaints, amazingly loud with great bass!

I didn't expect much when I went to pick this up and saw how small this thing was. I am shocked at the sound and how quickly it connected to my iPhone. For 10 bucks I am ordering 2 more for my kids

Was looking for a small portable speaker but didn't want to spend a lot. Purchased this for around $15 and have been very pleased with the ease of use and sound quality for the price.

I bought this as a replacement to my Jam Touch that is on the fritz. I like the sound, although bass sometimes sounds hollow at high levels. Great product for the price.

This blue tooth speaker sound quality is great, and available distance to the transmitting blue tooth device is comparable with any of expensive brand products.

This Insignia bluetooth speaker has a good range and connects easily to my laptop. Sounds good and the price was very good. Can't go wrong with this one.

Economical bluetooth speaker with surprisingly good sound. Does not always connect well with daughters Iphone, but that may be operator error. I have had no problems with my Samsung Galaxy.

Purchased to take camping. Small size with a large sound. Synced with iPhone no problem. Anxious to take for the weekend and play for hours.

Works well with aux and bluetooth sources. it has average bass, but thats what you get for the amount. However, the sound is loud and clear.

Easy to connect and very decent sound. Bass is not great though. The on-off switch is a bit hard to operate. Very good deal.

I'm used to high-end electronics, and I I don't know how Insignia does it at this price point, but they have the formula down! Thank you guys for being so generous. This is a great gift, (give one to somebody you love, someone who also happens to love music and has great music taste). After testing it with around 20 songs, I couldn't believe the sound coming out of the speaker, great quality all around. A fair world is a great world. Thank you Insignia for making this world a better place.

I get used to this speaker for a couple of month. So far, it is good and to fit into my laptop. I would recommend you.
