Perfect CD player for books and music on cd. Sound quality excellent. Use anywhere without bulky laptops or tablets.

I use this item when traveling. I can listen to books on cd. I also sleep listing to books on cd. it is light weight and easy to use.

I have been very pleased with this portable CD Player. The sound is good, it's easy to use, and changing batteries is easy.

Normally, I have the CD payer tied to my neck via a lanyard while I am in an airplane. Therefore, I am not usually shaking and shocking the CD player, but when I press slightly on the door, it stops. I have had a Sony portable CD player that didn't do this. Otherwise, it is great.

Excellent value for the price, easy to use and durable

This type of portable CD player is getting harder to find. So I disregarded any negative reviews and ordered two...and I'm glad I did! Both work great...good sound quality, all buttons and functions work. The headphones took awhile to get used to, seem to want to fit on back of head rather than over the top. I'm 75, but I can still hear tones (bass, treble and in between) and noises that people much younger can't hear at all. I've used one unit now for at least 30 hours. Shipping was free and took only 2 days. ( I paid with PayPal and I don't work for Best Buy.)

I bought this CD player for my teen daughter. She loves to take it with her to college so she can listen to music while waiting for her classes to start. She also brings it along when we go on a family road trip so she doesn't have to listen to Mom and Dad's music.

Our new car came without a CD player. Since we listen to books on tape when we travel, we needed an easy option. This little player, combined with cords to tap the car's sound system and power through the cigarette lighter, was the answer. However, Best Buy did not carry the power cord. We had to get that elsewhere.

I did not realize when I leased my new vehicle that it did not have a cd player. I am studying Spanish through a CD disc program and need something to play them in my car. I also purchased a car charger so that I would not have to keep buying batteries. This worked for awhile with the car charger, and then would not play any longer without the batteries. I still use it, but I go through a ton of batteries each month. You cannot forward or reverse it to a certain part of the disc, but only to the next lesson or previous lesson. If you stop a a part of the lesson and come back and want to pick up where you left off, you can do it if the wait time is not too long; otherwise, it will go back to the beginning. For the price, it's OK, but I think it could be a little better.

I needed a CD player to listen to audiobooks in my new car. It seems that no new cars come with CD players anymore. This connects via an AUX cable. No skipping at all. Drawback: It eats batteries. Also, it does not save your place in the book. I need to keep track of where I am manually.

I love to listen to audio books everywhere!!! It's great. Doesn't skip..and with wrap around ear phones, I can listen to a book as I go to sleep at night.
