A good CD player for the price, with no frills, however it's durable and dependable.

We bought this CD player during a road trip from NJ to Myrtle Beach because we had gotten a lot of Books on CD for the kids and didn't realize there was no CD player in the car. Imagine our disappointment as we're a few hours away from where we bought it in VA and we couldn't get the HOLD button to slide out of the hold position. Because the button was stuck in that position and would not, under any circumstance, slide out of that position - it rendered the unit completely useless for our entire road trip to and from. Best Buy was great with taking the unit back and refunding our money even though we bought it in VA and returned it in NJ...but the CD player was disappointingly useless to us even though the price was great.

Bought this CD player when I realized my new pontoon did not come with a CD player. Works great! Didn't even think they made them anymore.

In these days of iPods and sophisticated phones, it was great to find a quality player for a reasonable price. Din't want a boom box, just something that could play CDs for a shut-in. Replaced the headset with earbuds because the headset would mess up her hair.

I use it to play my Bible CD when I go to sleep at night.

Bought but, returned to store. Found a better brand that was of better quality.

Very sturdy, withstands drops on tile floors. Very easy to use.

It worked in my car for about one minute before the connection failed. I couldn't figure out why the sound stopped until I twisted the aux cable and it crackled and came back partially. Even during that short window of sound, it was out of balance and the vocals were super quiet. Serves me right for trying the cheapest option. At least I was smart enough to try it out in the parking lot so I could return in immediately. As usual, customer service was pleasant to deal with.

Okay, I admit these are dated but I had lectures for a class on cd that I needed. The player works very well. Get one if you need it!

This device has a cheap feel and the one we bought did nor work from the beginning. It was 'dead on arrival'. Tried new batteries and all the buttons -- even read the manual, all to no avail. Item was returned to our BB store where purchased.
