Even the on/off button didn't work. Most importantly, it does not keep your place after stopping play (a real negative if listening to e books). Volume good,especially when connected to an auto sound system. Good skip control.

My only quibble would be the layout of some of the buttons, but considering how difficult it is now to find a portable CD player when you need one, this device turned out to be a winner.

They are not as strong as my old pair but besides that it fits my needs great. I maybe one of the few who still have cds and this player works well. There is a limited choice on cd players but this one does the job.
