I listen to books on CD as I get ready in the morning. Having controls on the front is good for this. Probably not as convenient for carrying the player but can be done. I like it.

The headphones have to be worn with the bar on the back of the head and aren't a great fit. I would still recommend for the retro fun factor!

There has been a delay in doing this as my husband has been in the hospital and now under Hospice care. The player was purchased in order for him to hear his favorite books while ill. Player keeps going back to beginning so there can't be continuity. I have had several people try to get it to work correctly to no avail. I will be returning as soon as possible and hope you honor it.
