This is an excellent little portable CD player. The speakers also work really well. Not much money for good sound.

This is an easy to use basic player. It is smooth and compact. I take it to bed and listen to audio books to go to sleep.

This is a perfectly average CD player. A little pricey for what it is - it skips pretty easily and that's definitely a little annoying. Other than that, though, it's solid. Good battery life and hasn't scratched up any discs for me after several months of use.

Very responsive. Does not skip. Light weight but durable.

This is my second insignia CD player. The first one I absolutely beat to death in the summertime at the beach listening to books while laying in the sun. Finally after two years it gave out and I got another one. It is simple, so easy to find the buttons, rewind/fast forward to the next track. It really works well and lasts a long time before you have to change the batteries. I really do love it.

Bought one 4yrs ago Got banged up a lot using outdoors Went and got another one I mean for $20 I can`t complain.

I like the system: It is easy to operate. It is small and easy to carry. I love the base.

It uses up a lot of AA batteries: at the rate my young daughter uses this machine, it's a couple of AAs a week. The sound and features are reasonably good for a cheap CD player.

This worked great. Sound was good. Easy to use and made our trip much better since the car didn't have a DVD player.

This is my first portable CD player ever. Our portable radio with CD player got busted by moving a table. My wife did not like another one, but I like to listen to my hugh CD collection. So I decided to buy a “stand alone” CD player. I am used to use CD players since the last 3 decades. So operating this player is easy to understand for me. It comes with a small and light headphone. To save battery life I turn the skip protection off.

I hooked this CD player into my car and the sound comes out of the vehicle speakers. Sound is good. It does jump a little while the vehicle is moving but is still a doable alternative when there is no CD player in the vehicle.

I needed a CD player that worked with an aux cable to use in a car that was without a CD player. This one worked well and didn't skip no matter how much it was moved.

I’ve had this player for about a month and so far it has met my expectations. Simple to use and nice sound. I would like it more if it had come with an ac adaptor. I thought I’d have one at home that would work with it no luck.
