It was the only brand sold at Best Buy, or I would have opted for one I had heard of. The player has such difficulty "reading" the CDs that I have already thrown it out. It continually stopped as though the CD was damaged, even when the CD was new. My car player and house player had no such issues with the same CDs. I now must buy another player.
