I enjoy this product I use it at work all day long.

It skips sometimes and the sound is not very good but it is OK for the price.

I just needed the basic unit for a CD. It was easy to use and the sound quality was good also.

Purchased this product for my kids, so each could listen to their own music in the car. Easy to use, withstands bumps and drops. Headphones stay on, and sound great. Really solid product, and a good price.

The product is fine, the price is right. A lttle complicated with the finding the modes.

Like so many other portable CD players these days this one had a short lifespan - maybe hitting a record - one week before it started squealing like a banshee! That first week of sound wasn't bad for listening to books on CD (what I use mine for) but musc sound was gritty. Also the accompanying earphone wire came loose within hours giving me a psychedelic back-and-forth sound experience from that point on. Disappointed yet again!

This CD player is a great value for the price. No issues since arrival.

Need portable CD player to listen to while in bed - books on CD, inspirational CD's, etc. This is perfect.

This portable CD player fits my needs. It works especially well for audio books, at home or on the go. I find it to be user friendly.

This product works great. The only problem is that a power cord is not included. You must buy the cord separately. (Jensen 1700 universal power cord) As long as you follow the directions for the power cord properly, the power cord will provide endless power. This power cord will save you the trouble of continually buying batteries.

I "read" audiobooks. If you do too, don't buy this CD player. It does NOT remember where you were if you have to turn it off. You can only pause a CD and if you stop it you have to fast forward to where you left off. And, it does not forward very fast either.

I bought this CD player when my MP3 player went bust and I wasn't ready for a new one. I figured that even a cheap player should last for a bit, right? Wrong. At first it worked pretty well, though it wouldn't play any of my burned CDs. But there are certain CDs it just can't play, even though they aren't particularly dirty or scratched; it just has no tolerance for any imperfections. It also never liked starting up in the cold, meaning I have to take it inside with me from my car whenever I go to work and have to warm it up before using it. All electronics do this, but I've never seen any device need it to this degree. Then as time went on it became very fussy about how it was held. Now, when it decides to work, it needs to be kept perfectly flat - even a few degrees off balance and it makes weird noises and stops working. That's in the off chance that it even gets past turning on and actually plays the CD. I do not recommend this product. Get a different brand, pay a little bit more, and get something that lasts.

The sound quality is good and I like the style of the headphones, they don't get caught in my hair.

When I bought the item I knew I was not getting high quality, but the one feature I needed was the ability to play CD-Rs that I had made. The description states it plays CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs. The ones I tried to play worked in every other device up to this point, but none would work with this player. Retails CDs I bought worked fine so the device was working, but not as I needed it to. A total disappointment.

With the exception of the headphones, I like this CD player, but I do have to use my ear buds in lieu of the headphones that came with it. I have had no problem with sound quality like other reviews I have read here.

This cd player does what it is suppose to do. I love that it doesn't skip when I'm moving around, it plays my cds well and the battery life seems to last longer.

I ordered this on March 29 but didn't use it till May 3. Buyer beware! It's no good, and the 15 day period for store exchange has expired! It's slow to read CDs, and it skips and pauses, ON ALL DISCS. (Cleaning the disc doesn't help, okay?) I realize that CD players are basically a thing of the past, but it's too bad that there aren't any better quality units out there. BTW, Insignia's more expensive unit, the NS-P5113, is working OK for me. (So far!)

Bought 5 years ago and used only a couple of times. Took batteries out, put in a drawer. Pulled it out earlier this week, put new batteries in and it wouldn't work. Asked for help from Best Buy website but keep getting an error message when I try to open their response. Wasn't expensive, now I know why.

Great product for the price. I wish the headphones would have better sound quality but it still was ok.

This product is really nice and works great expect ofr we had problems with the head phones. The cd player it self was and is great but the headphones we had to exchange them 3 times before I talked to the store to get something else. The head phones would just stop working. something was wrong in the wiring everytime. other than that great product.
