The sound is excellent and clear. Great cd player.

it plays good for some cds, it seen if u have a little scratch, and it plays in other cd players, it does not mean it will play in this cd player

I've listened to 2 books on CD, both over 20 discs each. The batteries that came with the unit are still working just fine. I wished there was some way that it could remember where you left off listening. Other than that I have no complaints.

Meets basic needs; good durability from drops etc.

Performed OK for six CDs. During the playback of the seventh CD there was suddenly nothing but noise. Confirmed that the CD worked fine on other players and that the batteries were OK. Avoid this piece of crap and spend a few dollars more for a reliable player.

buy it you will be pleased with your purches. And the DBBs bass booster is good.

i use this player along with a cd-to-tape adapter. i love it!

Skips badly when jogging and anything that may think about bouncing the player. Walking is usually okay.

Not very old but uses batteries faster than any I've owned in the past. Does not work most of the time anymore and you have to remember where the recording left off and reset it to that track as it doesn't book mark it.. Last one of this brand I buy.

Poorly constructed, the battery cover wouldn't close, and the player won't play. Don't waste your money. Too bad I didn't try it before the 15 day return policy. Not shopping here again.

Just bought it and there is absolutely no sound. The CD is spinning and I've played with every setting and changed the batteries but I will have to return it.

It's not an expensive player and does the job. If you're looking for high quality, you aren't paying enough with this player. But it serves the function.

I bought this cd player thinking that it was going to be a good value coming from Best Buy, not! It played good for a couple of days. Then I had to keep buying batteries. Not a good brand!!!!!!!!!

Bought one which lasted for three weeks. Started skipping back and forth within a track. Best Buy replaced it. The replacement lasted less than a week with the same problem. Have now gone with the Sony, which is really the only alternative at Best Buy.

This cd player was horrible. It stopped working about a week after I bought it, and even when it did work it was really loud. I could hear it playing over my music. It sounded like it was eating the cd.

Product is absolute garbage. The only reason it has a one star rating is because I couldn't select zero stars.

I purchased for my nephew, who needed it for a Spanish oral exam at his school (they still use CDs!). When he opened the case, the CD player was sticking and not working properly. Immediately returned to the store....Maybe we received a defective product from the batch!

I looked past the fact that the anti-shock protection didn't work. I looked past the fact that sometimes you hit the fast forward button and it rewinds. i looked past the fact that it didn't play burnt cds. but then, after 6 months it stopped working. New. Old. Burnt cd's. Nothing. Save your money on this on.

Skipps on every track don'y spend money returned item to best buy next day waste of time and gas...

I purchased it to listen to CDs as I flew cross country. It worked fine on the first round trip. Some months later I flew again. This time the volume was loud and the volume control didn't work.
