Have used about 4 or 5 CD players over the past couple years and they all seemed to keep skipping and although worked not very well. This is the same brand but it seems to work better and the batteries last longer.

This model is easy to use, handy size and great features.

I got this CD player to learn a new language while driving since my car does not have a CD player in the stereo. It works well, but seems to go through batteries a little quicker than I anticipated.

Bought for my daughter school test. Good quality and portable size for easy carry.

I use this as my main home CD player. I have the line out connected to my stereo system speakers. I also use an AC convertor that I already had to eliminate the battery usage. It plays perfectly and sounds great. I don't use the bass boost because I can adjust that through the stereo amp.

This product is great. I did not think these were available to buy anymore! My only complaint is it uses up batteries pretty quickly.

We occasionally get kids books or media with music CDs, such as summer VBS programs and music books. Rather than rip to a phone or iPod, these Insignia CD players are easy for our young kids to use.

I have been using this Insignia portable CD player very often. It is a good player for the low price. It goes through batteries pretty quickly, but I use rechargeable batteries so it's not a bad deal.

Easy to use good sound does not skip worth the money.

I purchased to listen to books on CD while walking. I place in a small cross body bag which holds the player, an extra CD or 2 depending on how long a walk, and two extra AA batteries. Batteries seem to last quite awhile. The anti skip technology is less than perfect as it skips when just walking. Since selection for this type of item is limited, this is the best I found. I did purchase the extended warranty for about $6.50 because many reviews said breaks frequently.

I bought it as a spare to have a CD player on my next car which will not have a factory unit installed in the Dash. This new cd works as good as the original unit currently in my car . Same great sound. I have a ton of CD'S and do not wish to convert them to another format, Just get your self some rechargeable batteries and you are all set

It had been about 20 years or so since I had to replace my portable CD player, but I had an accident resulting in the death of my old player (a Kenwood). I was glad to see Best Buy carried a model. Priced right at $25 or so, this player does all that I can expect of it. Sound is perfect, the headphones feel comfortable and it doesn't skip. What more can I say!
