The CD player is worth the money. It plays fantastic and has a hold button so if you're moving with the CD player it doesn't Skip and scratch the CD. The laser is very precise the quality of the sound is excellent. I recommend this for anyone who still has CDs to play and want to be on the move with them

I am still old school, i have so many cd's i will not get rid of them. This little player does everything i need it to do, doesnt skip, doesnt play too loud but i use computer speakers that are amplified to get bigger sound from them. Very Satisfied!!!!

Sound quality is great and the headset is nice since it wraps around the back of your neck. Not over your head. Great value for the price.

Overall this is a decent CD player. It’s a nice, compact size for those of us who still love a hard-copy CD. I’m glad I purchased it!

We were surprised that our new car did not have a CD player, which created a gap when we tried to listen to an audio book that we checked out of the local library. This purchase solved our problem: works exactly as expected. I know that CD's are dying out, but we aren't quite ready to give up on the medium!

This CD player was the only choice available. Works well. Does not skip while riding in my car and sound quality is quite good.

I was having difficulty finding a portable CD player because of all the modern I-Pods and other technical equipment available nowadays. I searched in several stores without success and finally saw one at Best Buy. I use it while I am on the treadmill and it's easy to operate. I didn't have to pay a fortune for it, and it works great!

Still use cd's when traveling. Best Buy still offers this "older" technology and stocks it in store. Thank you! Hate online ordering and returning if it doesn't fit, work,etc. Item works beautifully!

Provides excellent playback, although on a long road trip, the batteries do not last long enough. Sometimes on a very rough road, there are skips.

I bought this player because I have a newer car that does not have a CD player and I would still like to listen to my CDs. It works so well for me, that I will be purchasing another one to give as Christmas gift.

Doesn't skip. Plays my cds and dvdcds as well. And the player doesn't skip while playing

I bought this for my sister as she battled brain cancer. She was able to sit and listen to books that she could no longer read. It was simple to use and was not pricey. I had shopped at several places where people looked at me like what was that. Best Buy knew exactly what I wanted.

Inexpensive but has great sound. Live the small size.

Use to play CDs in my car since cars no longer have CD players and I prefer the uncompressed sound versus the awful sounding mp3s. Works without even needing the skip protection. Only complaint is headphones that come with it are too small for everyone. Be nice if BB sold car adapter for it also.

I love the base and high sound quality. This is perfect for the vintage music lover who still wants to listen to cds.

Wanted to send a CD to someone, and to make sure they didn't put it aside to play later, shipped it in this player. Fortunately, they sent it back -- so I have it for my own use. For the money, terrific sound, although the headphones are a little small – I've got a big head, I guess – well-thought out controls. Solidly made.

This is getting to be a hard to find item. It is easy for my 90 year old mom to use.

I listen to audio books on CD's when I don't have them on iPod. This is fairly inespensive and useful BUT doesn't have great features such as starting where I left off when I turn it off and back on. For the money, I can't expect a lot. It also doesn't last a very long time. I've had to purchase at least three of these in the past couple of years. My recommended is "yes" to the extent that it does the job with no frills.
