Sound quality is awesome for not being familiar with insignia as a brand name. I was shocked that it works awesomely. I was taking a gamble and was pleasantly surprised that it even shuffles the music on my disc.

Very inexpensive little personal cd player. Didn't expect much from it, just wanted it for the car (with no cd player) for a long trip. Was very pleased with the clarity of the sound!

Works well and takes up minimal space. Good value for the money.

bought mainly based on price to include with a library of audio CD's for a friends gift. Turned out good. I think that the headset though that comes with it is not very good, at least it is too small for the head of my friend. That aside, the unit itself seems very good.

Difficult to find an old fashioned plain CD player. This one works just fine. But I found the controls difficult and too small. Although it take a DC cord to plug into electricity, one is not provided. So it eats batteries like crazy. Have to buy cord separately on Amazon.

I love this portable CD player,and use it at least every night to meditate before I sleep. It is great!!

Really happy with this purchase. Using it to listen to books on cds. Not so technically challenging for a senior who doesn't know how to use all the technical stuff in phones.

Performs well, especially in view of the price. This doesn't come with a power supply. If you want to operate without batteries, you have to buy the power supply--which, ironically, may cost as much as the CD player. This player also does not come with a cord that feeds the signal into a larger amplifier--which, again, may cost almost as much as the player.

Not much bigger than the CD. The controls are easy to use and the batteries last. It has a memory that delays playback briefly to prevent skipping.
