Replacement for my Sony - good, but miss my Sony

I had a Sony for YEARS and loved it, but it hasn't been available except on eBay (way too much money) in recent searches. I only listen to it at nighttime - about 60 minutes and it goes off. Sound it good, easy to understand manual, but will not replace it when it "dies".

Only thing we do different is use Rechargeable batteries and change out the headphones in the unit because we as a family use it daily. We used is main for audio books to listen to them and sometimes regular cd music too. I would purchase this again if anything happens to the unit we have now.

It is a bit complicated for a 7 year old to use the buttons. I expect she will catch on soon, but hence the 4 stars. Price was fair at BB.

Eyes lit up listening to his favorite CDs. Hard to see the buttons and volume but worth it to see him enjoy music and sing. He needed help to operate.
