Great for my language lessons

I am learning a 6th language on my own, the kit came with a workbook and 6 cds and this cd player makes it so much easier to learn. I don't have to bring my laptop with me on the train or in waiting rooms to my appointments. So happy I thought of buying this portable player, it is battery operated and comes with a headset. It works great.

When listening to books on tape it is inconvenient to have to make a notation of track # when turned off because it will start at the beginning when turned on again.

I was skeptical that it would skip when we hit bumps, so I tested it by shaking it like crazy before the trip and I could not make it skip. The batteries lasted for at least 10 hours of play time. For the money, it was worth it.
