Exactly what we wanted

CD players are disappearing from everyone's shelves and we were fortunate to find this one. I does not come with an audio out cord or an external power cord (both are available online if you can't find them in the store). We are just back from our first road trip using our Insignia Portable CD player and it worked great.

Portable CD player with headphones

Works well in the car without skipping

It has all the features you'd expect and does a good job of playing in the car without skipping. For the small subset of people who still have use for a portable cd player, this one is a good basic choice.

Lacks 'resume play' feature
