New cars don't have cd players!

Good CD Player

This player works very well. (That is, it did as soon as I understood what I was supposed to use it!)

Good quality portable CD player with shock protect

It would be perfect if it had "resume".

Decent, serves its purpose to a point

I did notget the warranty with the initial purchase, but I don't think it would have helped anyway. This item is not shock proof and, being that it's owned and used by a child, it was dropped and stopped working after less than a week. I just bought another one, even though I don't consider almost twenty dollars something to sniff at. I didn't anticipate this to be a family heirloom, and I'm hoping he takes better care of this one.
