My 80 year old dad uses a cd player when he is working out & wanted one for Christmas as his no longer worked. Delighted to be able to find one in a store vs online

I still like the Insignia portable CD player for certain functions. I’m glad I can rely on Best Buy to carry them in stock even thought they are not the latest music technology. They don’t last forever, but as long as I can easily get a replacement I’m happy.

5 Star rating is based on value for price. In the "old days", when many more types of units were available, I wouldn't have considered such a high rating. For what is available now tho, we bought four of them just to have back ups!

This Sony television replaced another Sony set and is 100% better in every aspect. The picture is superior and the sound, with the "sound bar," is beyond our expectations. It is an absolute pleasure to sit and enjoy a program. This true with both the TV and the VCR systems that we have. It is a new and wonderful experience.

Bought this for the car,my CD player stopped working. This works great, doesn't skip when I hit those bad roads, sound is good also. Great price too.

Bought for my brother. As far as i know he like using it for his car that does not play cd.

My son's class needed these for individual reading assignments. I searched Walmart and Target before purchasing these at Best Buy. The other stores only had the device with ear plugs, but CD player included headphones. The teacher was very happy with the CD players whereby I ended up donating 5 of them to the class.

I have no cd player in my car so I purchasced this so that I could listen to audio books while I am driving.

I bought this player for my mom after the one I ordered from another company didn't work. The CD player works, sounds great, and easy to operate.

while I can play my CDs on this, I needed a different headphone/earplugs as the back-of-the-head thing falls down sometimes. Plus I cannot lie down with it on. Also, the player seems a bit subject to jarring....I don't think this one is "jog-proof". I have trouble making it skip tracks that I'd rather not hear, and starting up where I left off. The pause does not seem to work, really.

I use this CD to listen to a CD for sleep. This one shuts off automatically. when the CD ends. It save on the batteries my old one just kept playing so it would run all night and run the batteries down.

What can I say? These are the best units (for the price) I have found to read audio books.

I purchased this CD player for my grand daughter. The portable size and sound quality work great for her.

I LIKE the fact that the cd player has a hold button; which prevents the accidental turning on the machine, thereby preventing the wearing down of the batteries-yeah!. Also, it can handle a reasonable drop/fall without breaking!!!
