Plays reliably. The best thing is being able to adjust it in the dark (listening helps me sleep) or in my pocket, without looking.

Back to the past. Needed this for a few language cds that could not be converted to mp3 for some reasons. It works and does the trick.

This was my first visit to this Best Buy Store because I recently moved to the area. The wonderful Sales Associate that helped me was really super! She took me to the CD player and I love it! I listen to CDs when I go to sleep and this is perfect!!! I truly recommend it and this store!!!!!

Hard to locate a CD player these days, and the choices are not so varied. This does the job and is just fine for what I need it for .

I needed a portable CD player to plug into an older stereo unit in which the CD player had broken. I went to Best Buy and asked one of the salespeople for a good CD player at a good price. He recommended this one and I bought it. I've only used it for a short while but it has worked well although it seemed to need a battery change sooner than I anticipated. We'll see if that continues.

Ok, not as well as the old Sony. But Sony quit making the portable CD player. This works. It does the job. I'm so glad that there is still a reliable manufacturer of these portable CD players. Thank you, Insignia for making this CD player! I absolutely would recommend this to a friend.

I listen to books on CD about 6 hours a day while I am doing other things. I haven't had a problem with skipping or static or anything. It is working wonderfully

I bought this as a gift for my niece and she loved it. She loves to listen to books on CD while she reads them and this was perfect. Now she can listen to her book in the car without everyone else needing to go without music.

Used by my mother to listen to her books on CD when she works out on treadmill. Doesn't skip due to memory play, would recommend for light workouts for anybody still using CDs

Great; It is just what I was looking for to purchase. Currently I still have a lot of CD’s and I can listen to precisely who I want. Stranded at home like everyone else I am able to get my walk & exercise with my portable CD player.

We use this for listening to cd books while we are working around our home. We really like it but it does skip some if you move around too much. Wish it also plays MP3 disks.

This unit does not track well when sitting on the seat of a moving car. Plays quite well when on a stable surface.

I got this for my Bose radio. It is a bit difficult to use when you go to change it to CD from radio. No real instructions.

Have dropped it twice keeps on working, It needs a way to put it on your belt or a case to carry it.

I had to return the 1st one as it started to whine. Not sure why. The second one is great though.

Quality product for the price. Bought as a gift for my mother who is pleased with the performance.
