I was hired to provide sound for singers at a festival in the park. Most would be using a CD track as a backing track. I picked this unit as a backup to my component CD deck but soon chose it as the main player. I was looking for small and capable. The display on this player was easy to read. When they would ask for a the next track by number I could locate it in pause mode and trigger the start when the performer gave me the go signal. I liked the two simultaneous output options. The headphone and line out jacks allowed me to monitor by headphone without having to switch cables. It was certainly a great bargain price.

Purchased the CD player to listen to book tapes. Player is easy to use and not sensitive to movement which allows me to move around while listening to a book. Earphones were just average and I purchased Bose earphones in order to achieve the sound desired.

Portable CD players are becoming harder to find due to CDs soon becoming an obsolete format. This player is still reasonably priced and works well with using an ear set or headphones plugged in. This item is good if you need a CD player that you can take along when going outside or traveling, etc. Only drawback is that it requires changing batteries more often than I am used to.

The CD player is not expensive, so I wasn't expecting a whole lot. I just wanted to be able to sit in my chair and listen to language CDs - my last portable CD player died recently. I have to say I'm quite pleased with the player - it's extremely easy to use, has a good guide (I needed that to figure out how to pause play!). And since I have a lot of CDs (language and music), I really hope they continue making these things - not all of us want to do everything (or anything) on a phone!

I borrow lots of audio books on CD from the library, and listen to them while cleaning and gardening and even grocery shopping. Best Buy guys helped me figure out which portable player would work best, and I'm very satisfied with this one. So happy they still make these! Works really well.

I really enjoyed listening to my music through the clear sounding INSIGNIA portable CD player. Very easy to operate.

My mom wanted a portable cd player to listen to her meditation Cd. She is very happy with the quality sound. Easy for her to use too.

Only difficulty I have is that once I pause with a button,the play mode returns to the begging so I have to remember the number of the track of the cd if I want to continue to play from where Ieftted it off.Otherwise it is a good cd player. I am going to keep it. The sound quality is good enough to recommend ti my friend.

I picked this up because I wanted to listen to my CDs and be able to walk around. I love love love it. Great product. Very inexpensive and hours of fun.

I like Books-on-CDs when I travel. Many rental cars don't have CD player. This handy CD player fits in a suitcase and plays well thru car speakers. Easy to operate.

CD Players are following VCRs on their path to extinction. This CD Player represents a good value for the money, and it's a quality product. Definitely recommend!

It is only 20 dollars. I am still behind with new technology because I am an old generation. I am listening to classical CDs which I collected over the past 30 years with this CD player. The sound is good and very reliable. It is a battery operated player. Yet, I have to replace the batteries only once a month.
