I purchased this item to be able to play CD's in my new car which is not equipped with a CD player. It works beautifully with musical CD's but does not even recognize the professional seminar CD's for which it had been purchased. Perhaps I'm missing sufficient instruction as to how to handle them. I don't know. Otherwise, the sound is great.

The ability to recognize and use CDs or Mp3 CDRs is a bonus. The control buttons of the face are raised and can be easily changed when carrying in a pouch or coat pocket. This is limiting to its use for me.

This MP3 player is a whole lot easier to operate than the one I replaced. I just popped the MP3 in and turned it on. My previous one required hitting at least 3 buttons till it played.

Really like this CD player, easy to use and performs as described.

Nice little CD player. I bought it for my mom who has a problem hearing. Unfortunately, she doesn't like the headphones much, even though the sound is really nice. It would have been great if I could have attached a speaker to it.

this is a great portable device, its light in eight can fit most bags and works well.

I only use this to listen to Audio books. I have not found any other portable players. I rated this as "GOOD"for two reasons. 1 .The ON/OFF button is on the front or top of the player which is easy to bump to OFF. 2. When the OFF button is pushed, on purpose or not, the player does NOT "store" your place or track in the book so you constantly have to monitor your place..

This item is well worth the money, and delivers fine sound quality.

Why buy it listen at home to relax music . Few CDs I have. Still in box for my self for Christmas gift. One day try it out. Thank you. Wish was blank and blue lights. On inside. And have one battery be better. Thank you hope MP3 Quilty sound.

This purchase was made to play audio books cd's, this meant the need and made them easy to listen too.

This is my second CD player by Insignia and I use it daily - especially before retiring. It's very important that the equipment works well - I love classical music and this player enhances the recordings.

Great to listen to audio books on a trip without disturbing others

Affordable. Light weight. I recommend this for children.

Father purchased this so we could listen to books on audio when there was no 'audible' on your phone. it's a good CD player and handled a lot of bumps.

Small compact cd player that isn't just "MP3 ready",but actually plays mp3's. Works well with mp3 made at home if burned at low speed (16x). Faster ripping tends to be less deep and player reading tends to skip over the more shallow rips. Only problem I see is that display tends to attract dust on the inside of the window, But I can live with that. Bass boost is neat feature but is seldom needed for my use.

Easy to use od school cd / radio player. Don't forget to turn off to save the batteries.
