One shortcoming is that when you turn it off it doesn't retain your place in the item you are listening to. Thus, you have to go back and find where you left off. This is especially a problem when listening to audio books.

I also bought an A/C adapter, so that I can save on batteries when I am in my hotel room. The system works great!

I also arrange music and find this unit very helpful while writing. I would definitely recommend this player to others, assuming they could use the portability and independence of the item (given that mp3s are found in so many other peripherals). Very pleased.

Perfect solution for new car without a cd player
