Relative to more classic portable CD players, it is spartan with only a few features common to older units. I was in a hurry to buy and had to take something off the shelf rather than buy online something better. It works and did not dig too deep a hole in my pocket.

The buttons do not feel like quality. I know that its hard to find a quality portable CD player these days but if you are in a pinch this one will work. But who knows for how long.

Took spiritual trip to Europe used it to listen to my Christian Music & lectures. The player would automatically pause and I would have to take it out of the case and start it over. This was a consistent problem throughout my use of it. I finally packed it away. I had decided to take it back to the store for credit to my card or in store credit but when I looked at the receipt I found that the time period for returns had expired. I feel I am now 'stuck' with a defective product. I was in Europe during the time that the return period expired so evidently I was not able to return it.

I wish it had a clip on it so it would make it easier to walk around and listen to my cd's. I know it is not an MP player but some of us just like the old way.

Changed the batteries, read the instructions. Very discouraged because grandpa doesn't have the vision to read any more and this is a good alternative.
