I haven't run this item through its paces, but so far works for me and others who use it to refill phone batteries on Galaxy S-5 Active and an iPhone 6. So far it does exactly what it is designed to do. The hook ups are easy, the cord provided is about 12 inches long.

When I first bought this portable charger, it worked great. I was able to fully charge my S5 when it reached 15%. I liked that it came with a USB charger so I can charge it pretty much anywhere. After a couple weeks or so, the portable charger began to lose charge. Even though the indicator showed it had a full charge (the light was green when I took it off the charger), the light started to flash red within 30 minutes of use. Mind you, I did not keep this plugged in when it wasn't in use. I only charged it when the indicator light flashed red and after I charged my device. This portable charger does come with a limited warranty but I don't think it's worth the hassle to go through the process for a portable charger that's this inexpensive.
