This one manages the ice better, and makes a bunch more - it will fill the basket, not read full when it's about 3/4 empty like the previous machine.

Good for in home use when you do not have an ice maker in your refrigerator and you do not want to wait for the ice to freeze in your manual trays. 9 cubes takes about 10 mins to make.

Made enough ice to fill the drawer in my freezer in a reasonable time. As others have said, the ice will stick together unless you empty on a rag or paper towels first before putting in freezer.

I never went with out. We used it in are motor home. I set it on a table out side. And it just kept on making ice. More then enough.
