the machine is great and makes ice pretty quick which i Love. The ice has a chemical taste and I've had it for about 3 weeks and ran machine everyday. If the taste doesn't go away in a week I'm going to return it....it can't be safe to be disgesting chemicals.

This thing is perfect. I got it so i could bag my own ice since i work outside all summer long & its awesome. Not expensive either.

This ice maker is awesome, no more going to the store to buy ice. I make it here at home and that is so convenient. Great buy. I recommend this Insignia Ice Maker!

Great little icemaker, and very fast too. The only problem is that the ice cubes in the basket will melt if you don't empty it soon after it fills with new ice cubes. I guess that's pretty standard for this price point.

So far so good! I only use it at my camper with bottled water. Takes 15-20 minutes to make a tray.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for aunt and uncle, they loved it. Makes ice in no time and you can remove the tray and stick it in your freezer to keep.

I love this ice maker. It makes a ton of ice fast. There are two sizes to choose from small and large. Both sizes of ice are easy to crunch and are made fast. I wish I had bought this sooner.

For the price it is decent. Would like it if it kept the ice cold inside the machine after it is done making it.

I loved my first one so much I bought a second! It makes ice quickly and in two sizes. I do recommend bottled water for the maker.

There is just the two of us, and our ice maker in the refrigerator died so I just replaced with this, and it's perfect for the two of us. I make ice after work everyday and put it in the freezer and we always have plenty on hand.

Very good little icemaker so far (have only owned for less than a month). Makes ice as advertised. However, wish that the ice would stay frozen within the unit rather than having to dump it.

This icemaker is perfect for home use. Perfect addition to any ice maker you already have. I use this icemaker for my drinks, i.e. adult drinks, soft drinks etc. I use the regular ice from the other ice maker for my water. The reason for me this ice maker is good for my drinks is because the ice melts quicker than my other ice, making my drinking experience smoother with the perfect balance of chill and drinkability.

Very quick and fun to use. Relatively quiet too. Needs to be watched though and continuously emptied into a proper freezer. Cubes are fun shaped albeit a little wet. I’d buy it again for my purposes.

It took me no time at all to make a large bag of ice for myself to use in the freezer that will last me a good few weeks. Good device for the price.
