The ice doesnt get too hard so even though the "small" ice option isnt as small as nugget ice, since its soft its easy to chew and break. Def a cheaper option if you dont want to spend 600 bucks just for nugget ice. Weve had it a month with no issues so far!

Ice from freezer was smelly and did not taste very good. U can use this with tap water or bottled water makes a ton of ice quickly love it.
