Fits on the counter great and makes ice rather quickly! We let the basket fill and then out the ice in a freezer container until our container is full.

I added another 2 years to the new unit and am a happy camper for 2 more years! Even if I have to replace it, it's worth it. A bag of ice at $2/bag and getting 1 bag a week (and that's bare minimum) = $104/year, so after 2 years of use I would say it was more than worth it!!
