I have a small apartment, so having this machine helped me save space and I don’t have to use an ice tray again. I would say that it does make a loud noise and the first one I bought something happened that it stopped functioning. Luckily Best Buy provided with a replacement and so far it’s been working wonderfully

I will say it wasn't easy to clean thoroughly, but with a bit of additional effort, we could clean it well. It made enough ice for us to fill a fairly large ice bucket within 16 hours. However, a year and two months after our purchase, the machine broke down. The water line in it runs hot, which eventually ruined the motor and the fan. It couldn't run cool enough to make ice, and thus was useless. Feels like planned obsolescence, and will not buy again.
