Ended up saving the day for keeping drinks cold at a summer cottage rental that had no ice in the freezer! Not big batches …. But enough to keep things cold while more could be made.

Basket is a little small so have to empty roughly every hour. First few batches have small ice bullets regardless of size selection until the unit seems to get cold enough.

I don’t think it was made obvious on the box that it doesn’t actually store the ice that it makes. You need to remove it and put it in a container in the freezer pretty quickly or it begins to melt. This works out fine for me.

If I buy another, it will have a handle. Ice machine works but at slower pace than advertised- 30 minutes+. It also recommended filtered water so it was not as easy as getting water from the tap. Machine was OK but wouldn't buy again.
