    This is the second I’ve maker I’ve brought within 2 years. Doesn’t really last long. I am currently shopping for a new one. Going to look into a different brand.

    Started off nice, but not even six months in, it won’t make any ice and it tells us to add water even though it’s full. If I could return it, I would.

    Hot price on an ice maker that is PAINTED silver. Looks to be stainless BUT only in color. Returned as it appeared easily scratched potentially making it a countertop eyesore?

    I bought this icemaker at the end of January and it stopped working today. It won’t freeze the ice no more. Of course it’s out of warranty and not returnable. It should have lasted more than a few months. A total waste of my money.

    Ice maker convieniently lasted just outside of the warranty period. Bought this maker in July of 2022, it broke september 2023. Best Buy support said they could not give me a replacement, and the warranty is no longer active as it is only a one year warranty. If you MUST buy this, buy some sort of an extended protection plan. Or just buy a better made model.

    Worked great until it didn't... Just stopped working yesterday. It's inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.

    It made instant ice cubes conveniently but melted down much quicker then regular ice cubes I returned this unit

    In less than a year, this product started making a loud noise when machine cycled water to make ice. It contantly runs because ice never stays frozen for long, even tried changing from large to small cubes.

    It’s super convenient but after time it’s like the fan inside runs on the water supply fan hose and it cracks the hose. Luckily I can replace the hose myself.

    Never used this device. I cancelled it for the green one. Since it’s the same device it’s probably makes the same kind of hard ice. I like the machines where the ice is a little soft.

    We use it for 1 weeks and the last days it would get hot and not make the ice like in the beginning. We stop and then try again couple of days and it still was getting hot. It wouldn't do the ice like in the beginning.

    It gets moldy every few cycles. I have to clean the ice tray with a toothbrush and bleach frequently. It no longer sucks up water or freezes ice. Not a good ice maker for the price.

    Followed the instructions to a T but this piece of junk only crapped out about a dozen ice cubes in nearly an hour's time. Unplugged unit, went through the same process. Same result. I knew I was taking a risk with Best Buy's low-budget Insignia brand, but I've actually had luck with their televisions in the past. Will exchange for a Frigidaire model, which is only twenty bucks more!

    Stopped working after 1 year. For what it costs, this shouldnt be a yearly purchase. Didnt even last the whole year either, was stored for a couple months.

    Disappointed doesn't begin to cover it

    It arrived January 2021. I didn't open the box and it's out for the first time until the end of April. I moved at the end of May. It was cleaned and packed. Plugged it back in about a month ago. It worked the first week. Then it started leaking water everywhere, and no longer makes ice obviously. I would've been better off buying bags of ice as needed. A high price to pay for convenient ice a handful of times. I didn't think to check for a warranty until today. Unfortunately, it expired less than two weeks ago.

    Faulty "full ice bin sensor"

    The "full ice bin sensor" keeps turning off and it keeps making ice until it overflows. It will work for a little while if I unplug it then plug it back in. I regret this purchase
