For all my ice eaters. This is the best ice machine ever and for an affordable price. I put two bottles waters in there and it makes a big ziplock bag of ice. You can make the ice small or big and it’s soft to eat. It’s easy to store and wash. I definitely recommend.

I could not have been more pleased or impressed with this unit... Makes a lot of ice in a big hurry... You'll get your first cubes within 10 minutes and then every 5 to 10 minutes after that... At least that's been my experience!

Makes ice quickly. My ice maker on my fridge stopped working and instead of paying $800-$1000 to replace it, I bought this. Filled up my ice maker bucket in 30 minutes. Made more ice than my ice maker bucket could hold. Its not 100% quiet, but it's not noisy either. Does the job and it didn't cost a lot!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! One of the best purchases I have made! Easy to use and makes great ice. Use it more than I do my ice trays. Has made my life so much easier. Highly recommend it. When I travel it is DEFINITELY going with me. Just pour the R O water in and let it go to work

I owned the previous model from Insignia and let me say that this new model is a huge improvement! This review will largely compare the two models. For starters, this one has a fresh new design that uses a sleek (plastic?) silver finish that is smooth and brighter looking than the standard brushed stainless steel look. I definitely find it much more aesthetically pleasing on the kitchen counter versus the last model. They've even cut the size and weight down while maintaining the ice capacity. Cooling seems more efficient as well as they've gotten rid of the intake vents on the left side. Controls now sit on the top near the back which is more subtle and also less prone to accidentally leaking or spilling water on the controls (as opening the lid effectively protects it now). I also dig the new white power cord as it blends well with my kitchen decor. Lastly, this ice machine is quieter when dispensing ice as it now drops the ice one at a time. The last model would drop the ice all at once making for a louder noise. Couldn't be happier!

Our big ice maker broke. I need ice. That's my thing. I need all the things I drink to have ice. So, I bought this portable version to use until our new big ice maker came. It makes ice! It makes it fast. It's very noisy. I put it in the laundry room and closed the door or it woke up my mother. The water moving through and the ice dropping. Very noisy. And still worth it. There are 2 settings for cube size. The large...is quite small. It has a hole in each cube. They melt in the ice maker. But the water recirculates and it keeps making ice. It's worth it. Because of the size and the hole, the ice melts more quickly in drinks. But it's kept making ice so you can refill your glass. It's worth it. For a house with 2 adults, we only had to refill the water once every other day or every third day. I recommend this. It works. These days, that's a big deal.

We love this icemaker! Great price for the quality. It makes ice quickly and recycles the melted ice so it is always full definitely a great purchase!

The Refrigerator's Icemaker has been non-functional for years! I only missed it when I had company or it was very hot! When I saw this portable Icemaker, I thought that I would purchase this item for my birthday. One of the best decisions that I have made!! Very easy to use.

It’s good for it’s worth and makes the ice in 6-7 minutes or so and I like the option to choose between small or big. Would recommend it’s easy to understand and use.

Kind of unbeatable at its price. You do have to manually add water, but weve been using it every day for a month, no issues. Probably its best feature is its speed

Simple. Quick and Portable. Small footprint. Don't put it in the room where you intend to sleep, however. Icemaking is continuous (maybe not ? if you read the manual..I don't care for them myself. If it's not simple enough to set up and operate without a 20-page text it's not for me) Recommended with remarks.

I'm enjoying my icemaker (Insignia 26lb portable silver) which beats replacing my freezer ice maker for less money and hassle. I like that its quick and can produce lots of ice in a short period of time. Here's a tip though. On my first use all ice went into the ice bin of my freezer. Next day when I went to get ice, it was ALL frozen together since the ice is still wet after its made. After looking at other reviews, do this -> Put ice in a gallon ziplock bag. Next day band on bag to separate the ice and THEN put it in the ice bin.

So I gave this as a Christmas gift to my niece who has an obsession with ice, she can’t stop raving about it ,it’s the perfect size to put on her dresser and still make ice she says it=t can do big or little cubes,no water everywhere the ice is not cloudy

This is a nice countertop ice machine that’s incredibly easy to use and makes ice fairly quickly. My only complaint is the shape of the ice. The hollow shape creates a lot more surface area making them melt faster than a sold cube or sphere shape would.

Excellent product, makes a ton of ice - super fast. Absolutely simple to use. Using distilled water and no sign of residue at all. Very happy with the purchase

We truly love our new ice machine! It's plug in easy to add water and the ice is amazing all our guests enjoy it! We bought it because the ice machine in our freezer went out and it was just easier we thought to buy our own ice machine for the house. It fits on any small counter space you have.
