It is quiet and makes a good amount of ice. I would suggest turning it off when you don’t need the ice, but it works just as promised. The color is just a pictured.

Had enough ice to mix my first drink in under 10 minutes! I was hoping to use my Power pack (Jackery Explorer 500 Portable Power Station) to make some ice for a quick drink without firing up the generator in my RV, but it would trip the breaker. Although there was enough capacity in the battery, it didn't have the power for the initial start up of the ice maker. Although I could make enough ice while the generator was running for the day. Bought it when if was "Deal of the Day" so was a great price. Although it would be a find even at the regular price.

The ice is small though and it takes time to accumulate a batch. But it works just as it states and is simple to use. If you get a quanity going, it would be easy to stay ontop if it. I use it to fill my big ice cooler and have already made up the cost of it because i do not have to buy ice now which i was having to every other day and sometimes, in the extreme heat, everyday and believe it or not bags of ice isnt cheap. Spot on!

I settled on this one and I am glad I did. It is exactly what I was looking for! My office mini fridge does not have a big freezer and I use Ice all day long it is a perfect solution for my iced tea. It is very easy to use... I love it!!
