But so far it's Performance is Great! I go thru a Lot of ice. So it makes it easier to have the ice I need at an Affordable Price.

We had household water problems requiring a Reverse Osmosis system that then rendered our failing refrigerator ice maker obsolete. We bought bag ice for a while but that was not a permanent solution. Enter this Insignia icemaker. Now after using it for a few months It is the perfect solution for our icemaking needs. It requires more effort than its previous counterpart but filling it with RO water and emptying its product into our freezers ice compartment is minimal.

It is perfect size. I love it. It can choose different two size small and large. But it has some noise when it makes ice.

It will go days without making any ice, then start making ice for a day or two before it stops working again. I bought this countertop ice maker to make sure we have ice whenever the ice maker on our fridge isn't working. What I like about this ice maker is that it make ice really fast. One downside to this machine is that it doesn't store the ice. You need to move the ice it makes to the freezer quickly or it will start to melt. The other issue is that even though it makes 2 sizes of ice cubes (small and large), the large ice cubes are still very small. Despite that, for the price you definitely can't beat this ice maker.

I didn't like the idea of it at first in that once it makes ice the ice starts melting and it makes more ice. But really it doesn't matter. It always keeps the ice bin full and it's good to fill up 4 8oz glasses to the top before running out of ice. It makes it so fast that before you need more ice there is more ice. For our family of four it really does the job well.
