Can turn off during working hours at the house then when turned on starts making ice in 5 to eight minutes giving time to settle in after work. Also turn off when sleeping as it does make some noise when on.

This sits nicely in my kitchen nook and looks good with my other stainless appliances. It's surprising how quickly it fills the basket with ice, just be sure to remove them as soon as possible as this is not a mini freezer.

This little ice machine makes a few cups of ice every 5 to 10 minutes if you keep it full of water which is very helpful to keep their water and Gatorade cold at all times, and it comes with a little scooper so the ice is easy to get and stays cold
