You have to unload the little ice tray that gets full of ice after about 4 passes of ice. But it work for us since our fridge ice maker broke. And I love the size because you can actually take it with you on a camping trip.

Easy to setup and use. It took about 1 1/2 hours to fill the basket with ice cubes the first time I used it, but I didn’t expect it to be fast. Cleanup is relatively easy, especially if you prop up the lid to allow airflow to dry out the inside area. This product is a great addition to our family room because it will minimize running back to the refrigerator freezer to get more ice cubes.

Great for backup when the ice maker in our fridge stopped working. The ice cubes are slightly wetter than desired when they are made, so they tend to stick to one another in our freezer unless I transfer them to a ziploc bag first, and let them freeze a little more while flat. We only use the "large" ice cube size - have found the small size is somewhat useless as it melts too fast.
