BUT I WOULD ADVISE ALWAYS GET THE EXTENED WARRANTY... USE ONLY PURIFIED WATER NEVER TAP, NEVER LET WATER LEVEL GET DOWN TO LOW THAT THE LIGHT COMES ON I THINK ITS A SAFETY ISSUE AND DOESNT PUT EXTRA WEAR AND TEAR ON PRODUCT... I USE EVERYDAY SO I WILL FIND OUT IF SHE CAN HOLD UP TO THE TASK, GOING TO GIVE AS A PRESENT SO MUST MAKE SURE IT CAN HANDLE A LOT OF WORK

A little loud while making ice

Our ice maker inside our freezer broke so we got this as a replacement and it has been an absolute life saver. Makes 2 sizes of ice, we prefer the larger size.

Makes ice every 7 minutes - Nice cubes and it fills my bucket before I have finished my morning paper -- I have only had it for 48 hours and have used it a lot !

I can make ice anytime I need it and don't have to leave home to purchase ice anymore. I make extra and put the ice in ziploc freezer bags. Totally would buy again!

My only concern is that the ice is a little wet when it comes out of the machine and clumps when put into the freezer. Normally easy to break apart.
