The ice melts a lot faster than my refrigerator's ice, however it works fine.

Wish it had an extra tank to keep water from running out. But overall a great item to have.

When the power is on it will continue to make ice. The ice will melt and recycle if you don’t remove it. The best part is the soft crunch ice. Love this product

Each one lasted around 1-1.5 years. On the plus side, it makes great soft ice that's easy to chew! The negative is the short life span and the ice it makes eventually melts in the holding basket since it's not cold enough to keep the ice frozen. This makes sense because the water it uses to make ice is below the ice basket. If it was cold enough to keep the ice frozen, then the water in the holding tank would freeze, too. If you're ok with these limitations and are willing to replace it every year, then it's worth it for the great, soft ice. But I'd recommend finding one more reliable, which is what we're going to do for our next one.
