It's cold; but the Chemical Taste is yuck

It makes ice really fast, and it keeps the ice cold while it is in the basket. It makes a good quantity of ice, and it would be an absolute dream. The issue I have is the chemical taste that is present in the ice. We actually ran at least 5 cycles before we put it into regular circulation. We have tried multiple brands of bottled and filtered water, and the ice continues to have this awful chemical taste. It's a shame really, as it really makes ice efficiently.

Water reservoir full, but not intaking water

The machine water level would be full to the capacity but would not intake the water to create ice cubes. The light on top stay lighted up that the ice was full, but there was no ice it was empty but did have plenty of water to make the ice. So i'm not sure if there was a sensor that went out, i tried to unplug and remove the water and added new water but still no luck. This did happen once prior but i unplugged, removed that water and refilled and it worked again. This machine started not working about a month ago. As i read some of the other reviews that were bad also were about that same time frame so i am not sure if it was a bad batch of them. Luckily it was covered under warranty and the Best Buy Geek Squad handled my return and replaced it hassle free, thank you BBGS. Definitely 5 stars to them for all their help.
