Works well for our household of five adults. I need to fill the water reservoir two to three times a day. Makes noise when water is filling ice tray and when ice dispenses.

Our icemaker in our older refrigerator leaked and destroyed some flooring. After fixing the floor, we are reluctant to have the internal icemaker repaired. Buying ice constantly is such an inconvenience. We use this icemaker to make and freeze batches of ice in our refrigerator. This type of icemaker isn't really made to hold the ice for any length of time. It works well for our purposes.

This was a birthday gift for my daughter but was apparently a returned Christmas gift with tape and wrap still attached including someone’s name. Not the special feeling I es trying to send.

Didn't see a hge difference between the small and large cubes. The are more like bullet shaped and are hollow in the middle. They do melt much quicker than a standard ice cube. Great to have ice on our camping trips though.
