It's not the loudest or least powerful sound. I would say, its suitable for partying outside / in patio. The sound quality is quite nice even on max volume.

I have this speaker connected to my iPad. The linking was easy and quick. The sound is good for a small speaker, better than the speakers on the iPad.

Works great for my daughters, but I would have liked one for me for work, but need more volume options. Lowest setting is still too loud for work.
