Great upgrade from my iLive speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a hand-me-down set of iLive computer speakers that a step-uncle had gotten on the cheap and gifted to me. Those speakers were better than the dismal internal speaker on my 2009 Mac Pro, but the new Insignia speakers blew the iLives out of the water. Subwoofer and overall bass response and volume were head and shoulders above my previous setup. Mids and highs, as well as overall clarity, were also improved. Overall, these were a nice upgrade from either stock, or cheap replacements. Highly recommended speaker system if on a budget.
