I recently had to replace my desk top's speaker system. I had a Logitech - Z313 which I had for a number of years. My only comment is the Insignia subwoofer is not as good as was the Logictech subwoofer...other than that I'm happy with the Insignia system

I picked up these Speakers to replace my my old ones witch where old Cambridge SoundWorks 2.1 cause the volume control went bad' for the longest time i had to use the computers volume control. The Insignia - Powered Computer Speakers with Subwoofer are not bad but they don't hold a candle to my old Cambridge SoundWorks 2.1. The Subwoofer on These is not strong but it's not week either. The Speakers them self's are ok but they seem to high pitch they tend to cause my ears to hurt some times' maybe i got a bad set? and there was a slight problem with the volume control the right channel cuts off before the left when you turn it down to a certain point. All in all these are not bad but problems that i had made me change my mind and i had to tack them back i picked up the Logitech - Z313 2.1-Channel Speaker System so far there ok but i need to have them for a week

I got these for my office computer to get some sound for my pc. I mean it sounds ok nothing special. very muffled sound but does get really loud. the bass is a higher frequency bass and not very deep. I got exactly what I paid for.

I thought, man this is cheap, I wonder if it will work for me...YES, great sound, easy to use controller and quick setup. Very happy with this purchase.

This speaker system was just what I was looking for to add some external sound to an older synthesizer that only had a headphone jack. Hook up was simple and the wired remote on off and volume control made a convenient set up. Sound quality was OK for a unit in this price range.
