This was to replace an older speaker w/ subwoofer system on my iMac. The $29.99 sale price was pretty attractive but I suppose you get what you pay for. The sound quality was just not up to par for my personal liking. Bass was lacking and it had slight tinny sound quality. I see a lot of positive reviews, maybe I just had a defective system. I did decide to return it. Few pros - It does have a small disc like controller to adjust volume and bass. It also has a convenient headphone 3.5mm jack, also another AUX jack to plug in an iPhone/iPod if you wish which my older speakers lack. The set up was very easy. The system may be perfectly fine for those who want a very inexpensive speaker system for your computer, laptop or maybe even your tablet / phone. Like I said, with the subwoofer don't expect that deep bass 'boom,boom" powerful sound. I would only recommend it for the price and for those who just want basic sound with some bass.

For 38 bucks, these were not a bad set of speakers. They sounded great, and the balance between subwoofer and tweeters was fairly good once you set the sub volume correctly. I felt like the volume control wheel was a bit cheaply made though. It is made out of light plastic and feels very fragile.

Set up might be a little easier. It was not self explanatory as i thought it should have been.

I would highly recommend this speaker system to anyine thinking of purchasing one.

This gave me the bass I needed in my life without getting evicted from my apartment.

My daughter enjoys these speakers. They are good for her video games that she plays.

Inexpensive and works very well. My only dislike is that it isn't a little bit louder. I use them from my laptop, when playing music inside the house or watching a movie they are great and sound effects come through nicely. When using outide the sound doesn't seem to travel too well.

I heard from a friend that these were good speakers, and they were right! They're relatively cheap but make a great sound. I use them for the house sound system for our projector. They work fine and I won't be too bummed if somebody breaks them. Perfect if you just need something hardy and serviceable.

Not bad at all for so cheap a price. Not studio quality but they get the job done.

These speakers are great! We have had no problems . This is our second pair we have bought.

Easy install, not bad sound for the price of the unit. Works great as a accessory sound option.

Reasonably priced, decent sound quality, with a noticeable low end. The volume control is a little weird buy it works and has a decent range. Speakers are a little tippy but not a real problem unless you have cats walking around them.

To have basic audio these work great. If your a basic user these will do what you need.
